Large-Scale Facilities
Headquartered in Aveiro, near major transport routes, Motrinde offers its partners quick and easy access to its facilities, providing a competitive advantage.It occupies a total area of 164,000m², of wich 20,000 m² is covered, featuring 11 produciton facilities, various machinery, and lifting equipment. Its mission is guided by quality, expertise, and the satisfaction of both clients and employees.
With 31 years of experience in the metalworking industry, Motrinde shares its story.
It was 1995 when the founder, Mr. José Paiva, together with his sons, Pedro Paiva and Paulo Paiva, established Motrinde .
The company operated in rented facilities of just over 400m².
The company moved to new rented facilities of 900m².
Completion of the construction of the first workshop (A) on a 4000 m2 site, with approximately 1500 m2 of covered area.
The first major project led Motrinde to rent an industrial workshop to accomodate the scale of the project.
Doubling of the Production Area.
Construction of a workshop for Surface Treatment.
This expansion enabled the company to expand its machinery fleet.
Workshop for (In-House) Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance .
With increasing demand from the Spanish market, Motrinde decided to establish its first commercial branch .

Expansion and Facade Renovation of the Administration Building.
For the first time, Motrinde received the SME Excellence Award.
Achievement of ISO 9001 and EN 1090 Certification.
Joined the Metal Portugal Brand.
Increase in production capacity with the construction of the following worshops: Dispatch (1200m2), Stainless Steel (1200m2), and self-supporting roof.
The company Motrinde France was established to be closer to its clients.
The construction of a larger workshop (3000m2) will enable the execution of large-scale projects with greater quality and safety.
Completion of the Large-Scale workshop (3000m2).
Motrinde received the SME Excellence Award 2018 .
Obtained the environmental and safety certification according to ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 standards.

As part of its global expansion plan in the European market, Motrinde has strengthened its presence in France through its subsidiary, Motrinde France, aiming to work more closely with its clients and provide greater support for projects in this key market.
